They can enjoy a few different hikes and trails and explore the rainforests rich flora. Rangers at the park talk to the visitors about the park, its ecosystem and conservation objectives and happily answer any questions about Tayrona.

During this trip, we offer a lot of activities that are either done on foot or by bike, to help make your vacations more sustainable. A lot of the places on this itinerary can also be connected via public buses, and we encourage our travelers to use this option where possible to reduce carbon footprint and help make your vacation even more sustainable.

People

In Colombia we work with guides and drivers local to each area, which means travelers can take advantage of their local knowledge of the areas visited. This benefits not only our customers but also directly supports the local guides and drivers as well as their families. In Medellin, our travelers enjoy a city walk while being accompanied by the locals. It's a fantastic way to get ins and outs of the way of life in the city and have the most local experience possible.

We encourage our customers to support local restaurants, local shops and stalls to buy food, drinks and souvenirs. We also make sure that all the accommodation we use is locally run and benefits the community by providing jobs in the areas. Quite often the B&Bs we book are a family business, so the guests get to spend more time with the locals and learn about their culture first hand.
