Dolphin sighting is conducted in canoes without engines. The canoes are propelled by hand using paddles. This activity is entirely environmentally friendly, contributing to zero carbon emissions.

Throughout the duration of the tour, all meals offerings are accompanied by vegetarian or vegan alternatives. We are aware that many people are changing their diets, and we know that plant-based meat alternatives contribute to reducing the ecological footprint caused by human activity.

On this trip we actively seek lodgings that prioritize ecological consciousness and implement sustainable methodologies, like solar energy panels utilization in Hotel Quinto Nivel and rainwater collection in Hato Montana.

ENVIRONMENT AND WILDLIFE:
While on hikes and walks, we kindly remind our travelers to adhere to designated paths, preventing any harm to delicate flora and fauna, and to refrain from leaving any litter or waste behind. We kindly request visitors to refrain from touching or disturbing delicate formations or paintings at the Gate of Orion or Cerro Azul rock art sites, and to avoid taking any artifacts from the park.

While exploring the natural pools at Los Pozos Naturales, we kindly request visitors to refrain from using any sunscreen or products that could harm the delicate ecosystem. Additionally, we ask them to avoid diving or jumping into the pools, as such actions can disturb the natural environment.

During our visits to San José del Guaviare, we collaborate with local guides, drivers, and establish partnerships with local hotels and restaurants. This not only ensures our guests enjoy an authentic experience but also contributes directly to the local community. Additionally, we actively endorse local initiatives, including reforestation projects and community-based tourism programs. These initiatives not only foster cultural exchange but also promote sustainable development.

In the Rosario Islands and Tayrona Park, we collaborate closely with local communities, fostering partnerships and backing initiatives dedicated to sustainable fishing and marine conservation. Furthermore, we engage with local organizations to deliver training and education on responsible tourism practices. Our efforts also extend to promoting the preservation of local culture and heritage.
