Reviews for Cameroon vacation, Tribal lands
Eric Osborn-Hodge review 6 Nov 2017
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
The highlight of the trip was the trek in the Vokre mountains to stay with the Dupa people, also our stay in Bukaru camp visiting other tribes in the area.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
By using local hotels and services, Bukaru camp staff and porters on the trek I feel that we put much needed money into the local economy.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
I would have liked extra time in the North perhaps also staying with another tribe. I feel that the trip needs extra time to cover the area as the whole thing seemed a bit rushed, not allowing for delayed train journeys etc. But over all a very enjoyable experience.Holiday Reviews
