1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

The vacation was quite an extended tour of Argentina, Antarctica and Chile all of which were phenomenal. It is difficult to pick a single highlight, but the meticulous planning and support from Federica at the tour operator was the best we have experienced from any travel agent.

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

Use a local agent and guides. Again the tour operator's presence and support throughout made our experience very enjoyable especially when we had some challenges with injuries and lost luggage.

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Given we travelled from North to South Argentina and then South to North in Chile, we had stops and stays in many hotels. In all cases we stayed in small privately owned hotels run by local people. We found many of them used very sustainable approaches for energy, water and very environmentally friendly. We also adopted a vegetarian diet throughout our trip. The tour operator is also linked with various lical NGOs who promote the local culture and aid the local communities.

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

In a word - Outstanding !

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

We have visited five places in Province Santa Cruz. Some of them are well-known, and others are mostly unknown. The cherry on the cake was the stay in Campamento Darwin despite the thrilling drive on the muddy road in the heavy rain. Fantastic nature, canyons, Ria Deseado, Penguin island, and all those animals. The genius loci of this place is unforgettable. We never thought that such a lonely place could be so attractive. The family that runs campamento are great people. We loved their hospitality, knowledge, and heartiness.

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

Hire a 4x4 car and visit places, where are fewer tourists. Then you could feel Patagonia's world with wide plains, deep canyons and a lot of wild animals.

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Absolutely yes. Campamento Darwin and La Posta de los Toldos support local businesses, use renewable energy sources and support environmental protection.

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Perfectly tailored vacations with the great support of the tour provider before and during the trip.
