1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Spending some relaxing down-time at the Ranch was wonderful. Iguacu was impressive and very accessible esp from the Arg side. Ilha Grande was peaceful and idyllic - best seafood here!2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Go with the flow - there are some long travel days, transport arrangements don't always join up perfectly so you will need to be patient. Listen to your tour guide and tell them if you have concerns, they can't help if they don't know. Go and talk with the locals, buy local, take the local trips and tip the guides. Take a good water bottle and have all the jabs before you set off, use lots of repellant - then relax and enjoy! Pack your fav snacks from the UK.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes very much supported the locals - local guides, taken to local bars and shops. Brazil has a way to go re plastics but we can all try to use less.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
Fab, was quite busy but very varied range of experiences, loved the Ranch and had a super birthday there, the beaches at Ilha Grande are stunning and Rio is well just Rio - and safe enough if you follow the advice and just chill out! Make sure you have a freshly-made Caipirinha on Copacabana beach, not expensive but just perfect on a hot day, and lots of places that will make you one! Made some great new friends from distant parts of the world. Luma, our guide, was superb and coped very well with lots of "issues" - always with a lovely smile!Holiday Reviews
