1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
The people are friendly and the country is so beautiful and clean. Love that we could be in the city, desert, mountains and the sea all in one trip. The on-the- ground tour guide was fantastic, went above and beyond, added some other places apart from our itinerary too. Also took us to local restaurants, which we love.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
If you're staying at the Sama Hotel in Jebel Akhdar, food is horrible in the hotel restaurant, don't waste your money there. Instead go to Layali al jabal Restaurant, an Iranian restaurant about 1km away from the hotel. We had lunch there and the food was absolutely fantastic.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

We regret to hear their disappointment on the meals served at Sama Jabal Akhdar. We will convey clients feedback to Sama Jabal Akhdar and ask them to work on improvement to avoid negative comments in the future. Meanwhile we are offering an alternative evening meal at Layali Restaurant a very nice Iranian restaurant based in Jabal Akhdar.

The trip to the desert was fantastic. So beautiful and peaceful.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Don't try to pack too much in for the 4 day tour. We just went with what our guide suggested, which was perfect.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Mostly, except that most of the staff in the hotels were Indian. I understand that the Omanis do not want to do this job4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Discovery of the variety and richness of Oman - history, geography, culture, cuisine and people - sites and experiences such as Jabreen, Nizwa, Wadi Bani Habib, Al Ain, Snake Gorges, Dolphin watching...photo opportunities were many, but a local guide is important to help with sites.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Food in hotels is very expensive. so eat locally where possible; know times and distances between sites otherwise you spend a lot of time driving; get a local guide3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We used a local guide and we visited sites without leaving any unfortunate impact.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
