1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
My trip Verona to Venice was absolutely one of the most interesting and exciting cycling trips I ever had. The organization, the hotels, the support and of course the route itself were all beyond my expectations. We absolutely fell in love with everything we did, all the places we saw
2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
From the sightseeing point of view I would recommend to read up more on the cities that you will visit on your tour. All of them are just packed with so much to do and see.. absolutely marvelous!
3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
To sightsee by cycling from one city to another is definitely more environmentally friendly than other forms of transport. But it is also reminds us how beautiful and resourceful our planet is, and how important it is to take responsibility for tge destruction that we do to our environment! Yes indeed I feel we have reduced our environmental impact although maybe in a small way.. and I hope we all continue to do that: protect our environment, respect and appreciate it!
4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
Ive done similar tours in other countries, ut this one with responsible travel and the tour operator was absolutely perfect. The choice of routes, the information provided, tge selection of hotels during our tour.. it was perfect, and I would love to do it again!
Responsible Travel
As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) vacation so that you can travel knowing it will help support the places and people that you visit, and the planet. Read how below.
Planet
The bike is such a simple thing, right?Well, we truly believe it is a great and democratic ingredient to make our world better!
This cycling trip is environmentally friendly as the bikes do not create pollution: you are your own energy. You will not even create noise pollution: together with walking, it is a real silent way to travel. We say, you enter the landscape on tiptoe.
This tour is linear: you'll enjoy every night a different accommodation in a different location.
To make your travel easier and lighter, we provide the luggage transfer every day, which is made by car or minivan. To minimize the environmental impact, we suggest the departure in Verona on Thursday, so that the same service serves many travelers.
Are you up for taking all your luggage with you, avoiding extra car traffic? This is great news, you have all our support and a great discount. Let us know.
Please note that both Verona (the departure of the tour) and Mestre/Venice (the arrival) have train station for regional and fast trains. You can use public transport to reach the departure of this Vacation.
We do not support disposable plastic bottles. In the rental kit we include a reusable bike water bottle.

Specialized on Tours and Vacations in a small portion of land, Italy South East, the area we live in, we promote a slow way of traveling, all direct to discover all what is inbetween the main attractions of our territory. We plan the itineraries so to avoid tourist traps. The bike is an excellent way to do it: we stick on bike paths and secondary roads, we reach small villages, countryside companies and farms, which suffer (and love) the fact of being located out of the mass tourist routes.
We sustain local family businesses (such as wineries, hotels, farms ). Either we include the services in the packages, or we suggest nice visits listing quality partners in the road book.
No tastings nor visits are included, but on the road book you'll read good suggestions about local wineries (possibly organic), osterias (family run restaurants), less-known monuments and interesting cultural locations, which are often managed by non-profit association.
