On the second day, travelers will be escorted to the heart of Bogota, where they will explore a multitude of distinguished places, including but not limited to La Candelaria, the Gold Museum, Bolivar Plaza, Casa Nariño (The President's House), the Palace of Justice, the Primada Cathedral of Colombia, San Francisco Church, the Colón Theater, Nuestra Señora del Carmen Church, Séptima (Carrera 7), and the Chorro de Quevedo Plaza. The expedition will be conducted on foot, embodying our unwavering commitment to mitigating our carbon footprint.

Throughout the duration of the tour, all meat offerings are accompanied by vegetarian or vegan alternatives. We are aware that many people are changing their diets, and we know that plant-based meat alternatives contribute to reducing the ecological footprint caused by human activity.

ENVIRONMENT AND WILDLIFE:

On this trip we actively seek lodgings that prioritize ecological consciousness and implement sustainable methodologies, like solar energy panels utilization in BOSKO Hotel, also rainwater collection in Casa Barichara Boutique and BOSKO Hotel.

Our firm dedication to reducing human-generated waste is evident in our careful selection of dining establishments. The provision of meat offerings is thoughtfully aligned with our principles, and these establishments avoid the use of disposables such as plates, glassware, and cutlery. This approach exemplifies our commitment to sustainable practices.

All our guides come from local communities, and each member is distinguished by their comprehensive proficiency due to their wide knowledge. Most of them are also bilingual, which enhances the communicative aspects of the experience. Our concerted effort is focused on ensuring that the money generated by stays in the communities.

People

LOCAL ECONOMY:
We provide all our travelers with a list of places where they can find accommodation. We always make sure to suggest at least two locally owned hotels or homestays.

We also contribute to maximizing local economies by guiding all tourists to the main plazas of the cities they will visit. In these places, they can discover locally made handicrafts and small food trucks offering local cuisine.
