Clients spend two nights at the Satemwa Tea Estates in the emerald Shire Highlands where for almost 100 years, fine teas and coffees have been produced on the estate and exported around the world. The estate employs many local women from the highland region who work on the estate, picking in the fields and in the factories and tea houses serving guests - staying here for two nights helps in keeping them gainfully employed.
In our UK-based business 80% of our workforce are women with over half of them being mothers with very young children. We nurture equal employment without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation or nationality.
