5 out of 5 stars

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
We did four walking safaris and a day hike on the Kilimanjaro which were absolute highlights. On the car safari, we saw an incredible cheetah hunt, 29 lions (yes, 29) walking in a line, and rhinoceros mating.
2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Do the walking safaris!! the Kilimanjaro hike is a must!!
3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
It definitely benefited locals since Ann and Abu, the owners of the tour operator are Tanzanians. They tailored our trip and made every one of our requests come true!
4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
It was absolutely extraordinary. I strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic experience in beautiful camps and lodges, close to nature without excessive luxuries distracting from the beautiful nature.

We are supporting tree planting project at Usambara Mountain which involve the school children from 7 years to 14yrs to raise awareness of taking care of their environment and how the cut down trees would have a negative impact to the wildlife and future generation. For the tree planting project like the friends of Usambara mountains the clients are able to participate in planting trees together with the school children with their teachers. They can also buy trees from the village trees nursery and donate to the project.During the game drive we encourage our guests to follow the policy of Trash In Trash out to make sure our National parks remain clean for the well being of our Wildlife.
We know our wildlife and we are committed to conserving it and encourage guests to follow our lead. We are committed to all the rules in our National Parks concerning sustainable tourism. Our local guides have over 10 years experience they know every corner of our National Parks this give us advantage of driving far from crowded sights. We always avoid the sights with a lots of vehicles in order not to disturb the animals. We respect animals comfort zones by educate our driver guides to avoid off roads.
We are supporting the big campaign on getting rid of use of plastic bags and bottles so we offer our client refillable bottles for there water and we do not use plastics in our cars and also for the lunchboxes . We also avoid a lot of printing, and for bookings and other related issues with paper we try to do online in order to avoid printing a lot and hence saving trees!
In Tanzania where our office is the major source of power is hydroelectricity, which need a lot of water, but we are in a Tropical Country where the sun is throughout the year. In our office we use solar system to avoid the much wasted water from Hydroelectricity.
As a team of people who loves nature and care about our community well being believe that we only have one planet and we should all do our part to ensure that it’s protected by combining our modern ways of living with a deeper respect and understanding of what nature provides. Environmental conservationists understand that the way we live is a reflection of how we feel about the natural world, and our everyday habits show how much we truly value all the things that the Earth gives us.
